Tutis Biometric Division (formerly: Amex Information Technologies) was set up in 1999 and today, is one of the leading Biometric products and solution providers in the country. Tutis's strategic alliances with global biometric giants including SecuGen Corp USA, Lucky Technology and Cross Match have further strengthened our position in the biometric space.
Initial years saw Tutis grow rapidly as a successful enterprise and added global industry leaders like Siemens and CMS Computers to its client portfolio. Tutis also constantly endeavored to enrich its product portfolio and added several latest biometric products including iGuard, a global best seller, to its list.
Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Tutis has a global presence with branch offices in UK and Dubai in addition to an efficient network of resellers and channels across the country. Today, we are a Rs.50 Cr. company and growing.

1999
Started up the Biometric division as a value added reseller for biometric automation devices imported from China and USA
2000
Established strategic partnership based business model with Cross Match Technologies and SecuGen Corp. USA
2000
Early on Tutis successfully completed a large-scale project for Government of Maharashtra for fingerprint based Stamp Duty & Registration automation process for property transactions
2001
Strategic alliance with Lucky Technologies for their globally renowned Time-Attendance device - iGuard
2002
Carried out a project on fingerprint based automation for employee monitoring and exporting the data for payroll calculations in a large pharmaceutical MNC
2003
New Strategic alliances with leading biometric companies and strengthened the existing relations through a series of aggressive media campaigns and visibility initiatives
2005
Developed and launched our own security software Tutis Biometric Logon in Desktop as well as Enterprise version. This high-end software saw instant popularity in both, the high-risk end user category as well as big enterprises with large network set-ups
2005
Submitted PoC and subsequently deployed Tutis biometric Logon for a leading financial institution for online banking application
2006
Successfully deployed Enterprise version of Tutis Biometric Logon at a UK based large call center with over 400 clients and 9 servers
2006
Developed our own fingerprint matching technology - Fingerpoint Ver 1.2. for applications written for Microsoft Windows platform
2006
Released upgraded version 2.0 for Tutis Biometric Logon (TBL 2.0) with enhanced features like 'Cache Logon' and more AFIDs
2007
Tutis Biometric Logon now supports Windows Terminal Services
