L SCAN® 500P
Compact, Lightweight Single Platen Palm Scanner
with Interactive LCD Display |
| Overview : |
| |
| Currently the lightest and smallest palm scanner in the industry, the L SCAN 500P is the first FBI-certified single platen device for capturing fingerprints and palm prints. Ideal for criminal identification and forensic analysis, the compact L SCAN 500P meets the growing market demand for lightweight, flat, single platen solutions and offers single capture images of upper, lower and writer's palms, slaps and rolls. |
Building on Cross Match's leadership in livescan, the L SCAN 500P captures forensic quality images that comply with the FBI Image Quality Specification (IQS) as defined in Appendix F of the EFTS.
The system uses patented auto capture technology — enabling users to obtain the highest quality palm images in less than one second. With a small footprint and advanced biometric technology, the
L SCAN 500P makes it easy for law enforcement officials to establish and verify subjects' identities. |
| Built with officer safety in mind, the L SCAN 500P has a unique interactive LCD display that makes the scanner very easy and intuitive to use. Two smart buttons and descriptive icons enhance operation by providing immediate feedback on the scanner. The LCD display makes the capture sequence faster, easier, and safer for law enforcement officers. |
